The mission of Valeries House is to help children and families work through the loss of a loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives. Our vision is that no child will grieve alone.

TO SERVE COMMUNITY MEMBERS THOUGH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS, COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS AND THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES.

TO PROVIDE SUPERVISION AND SERVICES TO DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED ADULTS IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO SO WITHOUT SUPPORT.

SIBS PLACE, INC IS A FREE THERAPEUTIC PROGRAM SOUTH NASSAU COMMUNITIES HOSPITAL. THE PROGRAM SERVES CHILDREN AGES 5-17, WHO ARE COPING WITH A SIBLING WITH CANCER OR ANOTHER DEVASTATING ILLNESS, A PARENT WITH CANCER, OR CHILDREN COPING WITH THE DEATH OF A SIBLING OR PARENT. SIBS PLACE, INC. PROVIDES SUPPORT AND ATTENTION TO THE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE AND NEEDS OF THE WELL CHILDREN AS THEY FACE THE ISSUES AND CONFLICTS RELATED TO THE ILLNESS/DEATH OF THEIR LOVED ONE.

To provide families with an intervention program that assists them in the home while they are struggling with out of control and often deadly teenage behavior. The organization provides coaching and counseling to help parents and their children.
