LEAP's mission is to empower underserved and first-generation-to-college students to succeed in education, career and life.

Through mentoring, financial and career support, we give promising graduates of Boston public schools a 2nd chance at a college education.

School on Wheels provides academic tutoring to children living in shelters, motels, cars, group foster homes and on the streets in Southern California. We provide students without homes stability in a time of stress and transition and help them achieve educational success so that they may break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.

Transforming elementary school science education for everyone by teaching students, training teachers, and engagin the scientific community.

Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation provides girls young and women in Afghanistan with free, award-winning K-12 schooling and post-secondary programs. Our model of transformative, community-based education incubates strong leaders, builds career pathways, and creates peaceful cultural change within an educational cycle that impacts present and future generations. Founder and president Razia Jan, humanitarian and CNN Top 10 Hero, has worked for decades to build connections between Afghans and Americans while improving the lives of girls and young women in Afghanistan through education and opportunity.

Our goal is to end the cycle of low literacy by helping families in high-need communities across Massachusetts develop high impact home reading routines that lay the groundwork for a lifetime of learning and success, in school and beyond. Through book access and parent/caregiver education, we empower parents/caregivers to be their child's first teachers.

Friends Of Osd was created in 2006 to enhance the education of students at Oregon School for the Deaf. We have helped to purchase: a computer-controlled router, a TV recording studio, and equipment, trips to the Shakespearean festival, special needs equipment, a literacy program, a greenhouse program, family learning, academic bowl competition, summer camperships and much, much more.
