"Founded in 1999 by Terry Heiman-Patterson, MD, and Jeffrey Deitch, PhD, the ALS Hope Foundation provides funding for the MDA/ALS Center of Hope, one of the first multidisciplinary ALS clinics in the country (started at Hahnemann Hospital), and the Dr. Robert Sinnott Research Lab, both located at Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
